(Los Angeles) – On Tuesday, Assemblymember Miguel Santiago (D-Los Angeles), Bet Tzedek, and Glaser Weil will co-host a free family preparedness immigration workshop in Los Angeles. Numerous topics will be covered and parents will have the opportunity to consult one-on-one with volunteer attorneys to draft Caregiver Affidavits or to even nominate a possible future guardian for their families. These free workshops are designed to inform parents about the steps they need to take to ensure their child’s safety, well-being, and care should they, themselves face removal from the United States.
