Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, often referred to as “Dreamers,” have until March to take advantage of an unexpected window of time between their current status expiration and the program’s scheduled end, in March.  The DACA program grants some immigrants two-year renewable permits to live, work, and study in the United States.  Reapplying for DACA renewals now could provide some Dreamers with an additional two years of protected status.

#StayDACA is the slogan and hashtag partner organizations will be using to help spread the word to Dreamers about the urgency of reapplying for their DACA renewal.
