Radio Personality Patty Rodriguez is Honored by Assembly Member Santiago During “On Air with Ryan Seacrest”

(Los Angeles, CA) On Friday morning, Assembly Member Miguel Santiago (D-Los Angeles), presented radio personality Patty Rodriguez with a resolution on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” recognizing her work as she retires. Additionally, Patty Rodriguez is a co-founder of “Lil’ Libros” (a publishing company for bilingual children’s books which has sold over 1.5 million books since inception in 2014) and was awarded in 2019 as the “Woman of the Year” for Assembly District 53 which Assembly Member Santiago represents.

“I could not be prouder to present this resolution to Patty Rodriguez," said Assembly Member Santiago. “Patty has brought so much joy not only to the communities I represent but to communities everywhere. Through her books, her voice on the radio, her community involvement and so much more, Patty brings an amazing unique voice and I know we will truly miss hearing her on the radio.”

Patty Rodriguez will be retiring after 17 years of dedicated service to the internationally syndicated radio show “On Air with Ryan Seacrest”. She began her career as an intern on KIIS FM while attending Lynwood High School. She has also launched Sin Miedo Productions and a jewelry line aiming to empower women to take pride in their identity through fashion.

Assembly Member Miguel Santiago is the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Governmental Organization and the Assembly Select Committee on Los Angeles County Homelessness. He represents the 53rd District composed of the cities of Los Angeles, Huntington Park, and Vernon.
