(Los Angeles) – Assemblymember Miguel Santiago (D-Los Angeles) joined other state and local officials for a firsthand look at one part of California’s homelessness problem by taking a walk down Skid Row and meeting with some of the people who live there. “As the numbers continue to grow we have to find new and creative ways to address this issue and be more humane about the way we tackle the issue of homelessness,” Assemblymember Santiago said. He has authored legislation (Assembly Bill 1971) to increase the resources available to homeless people.
